The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing towards the provision of the HR administration and advisory HR service. The ideal candidate will be a studying at degree level in a Business, HR or Psychology related degree, in addition to have the aptitude and soft skills to deal with advising and guiding employees and managers. This role is extremely fast-paced and will suite a candidate who has a real passion for HR and an eagerness to succeed.

Responsibilities:
Providing proactive administrative support and advice across the full spectrum of employee life cycle.
To support the new training system from implementation to on-going completion in order to produce ‘live’ skill matrices.
Provide input to the development and delivery of any training plans ensuring that it is aligned with and supports the Company’s strategy.
Supporting the administration of disciplinary and grievances, ensuring full compliance to policy and legislation and a consistent approach across the site.
Review current HR policies and advise on processes and procedures and prevailing legislation to ensure the business is fully compliant and up to date on modern HR best practice.
Support the administration of both short- and long-term absence under the sickness absence policy, utilising occupational health where appropriate and managing capability where necessary.
To support the Occupation Health professional in the administration on occupational health screening.
To support the Environment, Health, and Safety team in the administration of initiatives and tasks when necessary.
Provide support and advice to line managers in respect to recruitment and resourcing for the full spectrum of roles, using various recruitment tools and methods. Support the HR Team in assessment centres and interviews, manage the application process - check application forms, shortlist, interview, inform candidates
Assist with the annual appraisal process, liaising with Managers to ensure appraisals are conducted in a timely and effective manner
Working collaboratively and autonomously on a variety of HR-related projects
