Summary

We are looking for enthusiastic, talented, ambitious and skilled individuals, who thrive on a challenge, to undertake a yearlong placement. We have vacancies at both our UK sites in Witton, Birmingham and Waunarlwydd, Swansea. The main purpose of these placements will be to work on specified projects within our Engineering teams, particularly on process improvement projects where the emphasis will be on improving productivity, maximising use of in-house facilities, reviewing process flow and identifying cost savings. Projects will be allocated in line with the speciality of the successful candidates and the need of the business.

Candidate Requirements

  • Must be enrolled on a Bachelors degree sandwich year university course in an engineering discipline.
  • Student must have successfully completed first year prior to placement.
  • Will be able to demonstrate an understanding of how to approach problem solving and find solutions.
  • Will be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to communicate and interact with all levels.
  • Must possess a positive “CAN DO ATTITUDE”
  • Must be able to adopt the Right to Left Thinking Philosophy - begin with the end in mind - what do you want the end result to be?
  • Willing to work flexible hours which could include 12 hours shifts on occasion.
