Special Metals Wiggin trace their roots back to Sir Henry Wiggin in the 1800's, who founded Henry Wiggin & Company and began making specialty alloys. During World War II, the Wiggin research team was responsible for the vital alloys needed to produce gas turbine engines.

We are looking for two enthusiastic, talented, ambitious and skilled individuals who thrive on a challenge to undertake a 12-month placement within our Organisation based at our Hereford Plant. You will work within the Operations Department on projects to help with cost reduction, improved productivity and performance.
The role holder will also be heavily involved in reinstating, monitoring and improving OEE on key machining assets in the Cold Draw or Forge Departments.
