Timet Witton produces Titanium in Ingot, Billet, Bar, and Slab form through its Melt, Forge and Machining capabilities.
We are looking for enthusiastic, talented, ambitious and skilled individuals who thrive on a challenge to undertake a 12-month placement within our Organisation based at our Witton Plant in Birmingham. You will work within the Health, Safety & Environment Department to assist with the co-ordination of safety recording keeping, portal management, safety & environmental initiatives.
The role holder will also be heavily involved in delivering the site’s Zero Harm and wider Health & Safety objectives, working with operational and functional teams to embed a safe system of work by providing advice and guidance, carrying out safety inspections and ensuring that corrective actions are properly recorded and resolved. This is an exciting opportunity that will expose the role holder to all levels of the Timet UK, from shop floor to senior management, in a diverse and demanding work environment that offers a wide range of environmental and Health & Safety challenges.
