1. What have you enjoyed the most about your experience at Mott MacDonald so far?

My experience at Mott MacDonald has been amazing, the companies' values and codes all align with my own especially the PRIDE values - Progress, Respect, Integrity, Drive and Excellence. However, the thing I have loved the most is working with everyone, Mott MacDonalds' work atmosphere is ever encouraging, they push to make you the best version of yourself professionally whilst also making sure you are comfortable and happy.

2. How have you found the ‘accelerating your future’ development programme?

The programme offers many opportunities to learn many skills for example, communication skills, networking skills, sustainability, project management skills. All of these help you further develop your understanding and for me sparked interest in areas which I didn't think about too deeply, they also helped me understand where I need to further develop and where to go if I need any support.

3. What attracted you to the role at Mott MacDonald?

What attracted me the most was the feedback I got from previous or current employees at Mott MacDonald, everything I heard was positive, from the inclusivity to the work environment, this made me interested in the summer placement role at Mott MacDonald. During summer placement, the importance and the experience I received made me realise that Mott MacDonald was the place to go and my degree influenced the specific role along with the fact during summer placement Mott MacDonald let me get a taste of different roles such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and project management.

4. What are your career goals for the next few years?

My career goals for the next few years are to further develop my skills and gain better experience for mechanical building services engineering in order to pursue my chartership and once this is complete, hopefully, pursue my goal of becoming a project manager in my team, which I know Mott MacDonald encourage (in their values).

5. What one piece of advice would you give to anyone looking to apply for the Graduate role at Mott MacDonald?

One piece of advice I would give to a new graduate is to be eager don't be scared because Mott MacDonald will help you learn and help you become the best version of yourself!
