At ScottishPower, we offer a range of apprenticeship opportunities designed to help people earn while they learn, build valuable skills and start a career in the green energy sector. Our opportunities include Graduate/Degree Apprenticeships, Craft Apprenticeships & Higher Skills Apprenticeships. 

Graduate/Degree Apprenticeships - Our Graduate/Degree Apprenticeships offer the chance to gain a degree-level qualification while working in on real projects that support the transition to net zero. This could include roles in Software Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Data, Cyber & Business disciplines to name a few! 

Higher Skills Apprenticeships - Our Higher Skills Apprenticeships are practical, career-building programmes where apprentices develop specialist skills while contributing to renewable energy and network projects. Example roles include Project Management, Power Engineering and Operations & Maintenance. 

Craft Apprenticeships - Our Craft Apprenticeships are hands-on roles supporting the operation and maintenance of the electricity network. Apprentices can train as Cable Jointers, Overhead Linespersons or Electrical Fitters, working across substations, underground cables and overhead lines.
