I wanted to work for a great company, and Arqiva does this through touching 98.5% of the population. I applied to Arqiva because I wanted the challenge of working in a field which I found exciting, yet had little experience in. Arqiva provides the support to learn while you work which made this opportunity perfect for me.
I enjoy working at Arqiva because every day is different. There is no typical day. I have the opportunity to work on a range of different projects with our customers. It is the perfect balance between challenging and interesting where I am constantly learning new transferable skills.
Also, I enjoy being able to push my personal learning and development. As a graduate, there are so many ways to expand and enhance your learning with lots of resources to take advantage of.
I work in the DCC & Utilities Team as a Commercial Manager in the Water and Enterprise Network. Here, I work on engaging projects, specifically in the writing of contracts for our customers and supporting the customers on the in-life management of their contracts.
My advice would be to be yourself and use the application process to display your personality. When deciding which graduate role fits you best, read all the job descriptions carefully. My graduate scheme didn’t require a specific degree and therefore during the application process, I focused greatly on my previous work experience, skills and personality.
