The Role

The Data Analyst responsibilities include conducting full life cycle analysis to include requirements, development, acquisition, storage, analytics, visualisation and reporting.

The Data Analyst will understand current systems, data and reporting and provide optimisation of business data through data development.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimise business efficiency.
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain database/data systems.
  • Interpret data, analyse results and provide reports on daily/weekly/monthly/annual basis.
  • Identify, analyse and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Filter and 'clean' data by reviewing reports and optimising data sets through collaboration with Functional Owners to ensure Quality of data.
  • Work with Management to prioritise business and information needs.
  • Identify new opportunities for improvement.

What we are looking for

  • A graduate in Computer Science or Subject containing Data Analysis techniques.
  • Passion for Data Analysis.
  • Ability to create data model, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
  • Knowledge of database packages, programming and reporting.
  • Knowledge of statistics and ability to analyse data sets.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.

 Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Data Science based degree.
  • Demonstrable ability to perform and analyse capability studies.
  • High level of written/numerical/analytical ability.
  • High level of competency with spreadsheet & data management systems (ideally excel/Visual Basic/CAD)
  • Articulate with the ability to communicate at all levels from Production Associate to Managing Director.
