This is an onsite apprenticeship. Being onsite will help you learn from experienced electronic design specialists, work with real equipment and understand how electronics are used across AWE.
When you complete your apprenticeship, you could join an engineering team as an Electronic Design Engineer, with possible pathways in analogue electronics, firmware, digital electronics, pulsed power, RF electronics, embedded software or electronic systems engineering.
Onsite apprenticeship based at AWE Aldermaston and/or Burghfield, with every other Friday off.
An A Level in Maths and another STEM subject at Grade C or above, or equivalent BTEC Level 3, HNC, HND or T Level in a relevant discipline, plus 5 GCSEs at grade 4/C or above including Maths and English.
