At Greencore, every eligible application is reviewed by a person. We do not use AI to screen, filter or make decisions about who progresses through our Graduate and Placement Scheme recruitment process.
We recognise that many students and graduates are exploring generative AI tools as part of their job search. Used appropriately, AI can be a useful tool for:
However, AI should support your application, not create it for you.
The purpose of our recruitment process is to understand who you are, what motivates you, and the skills, strengths and potential you would bring to Greencore. We are interested in your experiences, opinions and aspirations, not content generated by an AI tool.
Applications that rely heavily on AI often sound generic and can make it difficult for us to understand what genuinely motivates a candidate. They may also fail to reflect an individual's unique experiences, personality and perspective.
As you progress through our selection process, including video interviews and assessment activities, you may be asked to expand upon the information you have shared in your application. It's therefore important that your application accurately reflects your own thoughts, experiences and achievements.
Recruitment is a two-way process. Our aim is to help talented individuals find opportunities where they can thrive and build successful careers. Presenting an authentic picture of yourself gives both you and Greencore the best opportunity to determine whether the programme is the right fit.
There is no expectation that applications will be perfect.
We value authenticity, self-awareness, curiosity and potential far more than polished or overly rehearsed responses. The strongest applications are those that clearly reflect the individual behind them.
By keeping your application genuine and personal, you give yourself the best opportunity to demonstrate your suitability for Greencore and find a role where you can succeed.
