Leather Manufacturing

We are looking for an intern to support the Leather Manufacturing team for 13 Months starting June 2019. The Leather Manufacturing department manufacture the main interior trim components fitted to all Rolls-Royce vehicles including seats, door panels and instrument panels.

You will be working in the Quality Department manufacturing interior trim components for all Rolls-Royce vehicles. This will involve creating and checking fixtures, making prototype parts, involved in PFMEA, control planning and Inspection instructions.

Key Accountabilities

  • Supporting the Q-planners in new product introduction.
  • Supporting APQP process within the leather shop.
  • Work heavily within the quality planning department supporting the development of new products.
  • Tasks may include design review of drawings and specification, steering risk basements via Process FMEA, Process flow, control plan and Gauge design.

Qualifications and experience

Studying towards a degree in Engineering and or Science and on track to achieve a 2:1 or above.
