We are looking for an intern to join our IT Services Team for 6 months commencing March 2020. As a member of the IT Services Team you will be expected to take your own initiative and be responsible for small IT projects from inception to delivery. You will also be working as an integrated part of bigger project teams. You need to be flexible and adaptable depending on the business requirements. You will have a high focus on innovation topics in relation to Industry 4.0.

What awaits you?
Liaising with customers and project stakeholders to determine requirements including arranging appropriate meetings and workshops.
Capture and interpret business requirements in user stories to derive tasks for delivery.
Deliver and drive process improvements with IT tools and techniques and research on innovation topics to bring new ideas and contribute to existing ideas.
Configure and test new hardware/software as part of the evaluation of suitability for an innovation project.
Support the development of new innovations using appropriate tools including training and documentation materials
Define test plans with acceptance criteria for delivering high quality software products and
Being part of an agile development team utilizing the SCRUM methodology and driving the usage of agile techniques within IT and the business including planning, preparing and supporting training, and the set-up and testing of JIRA and Confluence sites.
Qualifications and Experience
High level of IT skill and interest is essential. The candidate should be studying an IT related degree ideally with specialism in software engineering or similar.
Passion for how innovative technology can improve business is essential.
Good MS Office skills especially Excel and PowerPoint and knowledge on SharePoint
Basic Programming capability in language such as C#, Python, SQL or VB is required.
Knowledge of Agile methods especially SCRUM would be advantageous.
Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence would be helpful. Where necessary, on the job training will be provided.
German language and a valid driving licence would also be helpful.
