This placement will be working within the dynamic Marketing Department of BMW Group Financial Services. BMW Financial Services (GB) Limited was established in 1996 to handle wholesale, retail and fleet financing for the BMW Group. Based in Farnborough, Hampshire, it exists to support the sales of all BMW Group products in the UK and provide retailers and customers with bespoke funding solutions and a range of insurance products enabling customers to access the whole BMW Group range (BMW, MINI and BMW Motorrad).

In addition this role will also be working with the award winning ALPHERA Financial Services which is the BMW owned independent finance company, offering finance for non-BMW and MINI products. ALPHERA Financial Services also is responsible for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Financial Services and Aston Martin Financial Services in the UK.
What will you be doing?
Brief BMW Group Financial Services marketing agencies for the update of existing assets or creation of new marketing materials
Ensure that all marketing material is regulatory, legal and Corporate Identity (CI) compliant
Support creative, brand and overall effectiveness review of projects and campaigns to ensure optimum results, good customer outcomes, generate leads and comply with CI standards and guidelines
Work closely with the Insurance Solutions team at BMW Group Financial Services in all aspects of marketing, communications and product collaboration
Forge strong relationships with our Insurance providers, including attending and contributing to monthly and project meetings
Assist in the development of materials across all marketing channels for ALPHERA Financial Services, review and approve artwork, liaise with other Financial Services (FS) teams
Create and publish ALPHERA communications and bulletins for the Partner network
Support of website content and functionality, as well as improvement of Customer Journey and User Experience (UX) across all BMW FS Group websites
Liaise and co-ordinate with internal departments within BMW Group FS and external suppliers/partners as required
Support with cost centre control for budgeting, including reporting and administration
Qualifications and Experience
Studying for an undergraduate degree level in general Business, Marketing or STEM and on track to achieve a 2:1 or above
A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Strong numeracy and literacy skills where accuracy and attention to detail is key with excellent verbal and written communication skills
A self-starter with the ability to work on their own initiative
An outgoing personality is key as you’ll be expected to interact and network with all areas of the business both within BMW Group FS and also our sales colleagues in BMW Group UK and at times represent the marketing department in meetings with other areas of the business
Enthusiasm and passion for marketing, including the ability to identify new opportunities and trends e.g. use of digital & social media
