Charity

The Starlizard Charity programme is voted for by our people and supports the causes close to our hearts.

Everyone at Starlizard has the ability to significantly help the charities they are passionate about.

There are four strands to the Starlizard Charity Programme:

• Charity of the Year: An ambitious fundraising target of £100,000 allows us to make a major impact for a charity that is voted on by all staff. 
• Annual Volunteering Leave: Everyone is encouraged to use their annual volunteering day to get hands-on with a cause they support. 
• Disaster Relief Fund: Every year we have an emergency fund to support disaster recoveries around the world where the supported causes are nominated by our staff. 
• Departmental Giving Programme: Our staff are responsible for shortlisting and selecting 3 charities for grants and then working closely with them on their projects.

Wellbeing

The wellbeing of everyone at Starlizard is one of our top priorities. Our benefits such as flexible working and an annual wellness week are in place to ensure that everyone can enjoy a healthy work/life balance. 

We also have trained Mental Health First Aiders, as well as counselling available through our health insurance policies to make sure that everyone has the support they need.
