Our Summer Internship Programme is an eight-week internship taking place June through August.
This programme is designed to provide students with a challenging, meaningful and supportive internship experience that replicates, as closely as possible, the experience of being a full-time BlackRock Analyst. The programme begins with an orientation that offers a thorough overview of the firm and the opportunity to hear from a number of senior leaders.
Students & Graduates application tips

Following orientation, interns receive on-the-job training and are given day-to-day responsibilities to contribute to their teams throughout the summer. Programming also features a speaker series, mentoring and various networking opportunities, including activities with our employee networks.
If you enjoy this programme, you should explore our Full-Time Analyst Programme, which you can consider applying to after your internship.
Team you may be considered for:
It is possible that you may be evaluated for opportunities with teams other than those listed below.
Business Management - Business management teams manage the platform's resources, financials and business approvals. We conduct in-depth quantitative and qualitative analyses of our resource and financial position and translate that into practical insights and suggestions to business leaders and COOs. Beyond that, we actively pre-empt future risks and work to mitigate these risks strategically with senior leaders.
COO Teams - Our multiple COO teams each serve a different and equally vital role in ensuring the effective operation of our broad and complex platform. For instance, specific sales channels and country COOs deliver tailored strategic and business management activities, while our Core COO team brings consistency and scale across the platform. All teams also work closely with regional, country and functional leaders to help oversee day-to-day business and ensure coordination and connectivity across all partners.
Strategy - Strategy teams’ primary focus is on driving the strategic agenda and execution plans for the business. We work closely with client business teams to support decision-making and implementation of strategic projects and initiatives. We also identify and monitor industry trends and provide insights on market developments, including competitive landscape analysis.
