Oddschecker is the UK’s #1 Odds Comparison site and is made up of a team of 100 motivated and hardworking individuals based in Hammersmith, Italy and Sydney. Established in 1999, we are entering an exciting new chapter following the recent acquisition of Sky Bet & Oddschecker by The Stars Group, which in doing so has become the world’s largest listed gaming business.
We cater for over 24 million customers per year across desktop, mobile web, iOS, Android and via OC Connect (our B2B product). We work with all of the leading bookmakers and create exclusive content with our brand ambassadors. Our team is split into a number of squads, aligned to our core business areas. This means that we have end to end teams, who take ownership of our products, working closely together to directly impact their success.
As an Oddschecker Analytics graduate, you’ll be part of a bespoke rotational programme where you’ll have the chance to gain exposure across the business and build your knowledge of one of the fastest growing and technologically innovative sectors.
You'll be encouraged to share your ideas, try new things (and not worry if they don't go right the first time!) and take ownership of your own development. We have a training fund for you to spend each year, as well as the opportunity to earn an impressive performance related bonus. We also have; a beer fridge, pizza Friday's, sport always on in the office and regular social events at graduate and company level!
Analytics is central to our business, helping us to understand our customers and how we can best service them so that they come back time and time again. We’re on a mission to be the world’s best betting experience and analytics is key to our success. It is also an area of huge interest from the business, so you will have many opportunities to present back your findings and share your ideas, pushing us closer to achieving our goals.
As an Analytics graduate with us, you will be exposed from day one to business critical projects. These could be from taking ownership of analytics on our iOS or Android Apps, or working on building crucial insights into customer journey. But you won’t be dropped in at the deep end, you’ll work closely with our Head of Analytics and Head of Marketing, along with other experienced team members who will supplement your formal training with on the job learnings.
Your rotations will be across Product Analytics and Marketing Analytics. The former focused on product change analysis, working closely with our Product Owners to assess the impacts of our changes and uncovering further improvements that we can make. Marketing Analytics will see you work across projects that might include; lifetime value, conversion rate optimisation and understanding the success of CRM and social initiatives. The work will be varied, equipping you with detailed analytics and data science knowledge and giving you the chance to work with lots of areas of the business.
You will gain valuable experience of best-in-class analytical software such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and wider tools such as Google Cloud, Big Query, R and Python.
Alongside of all of this, you’ll be supported in your development and encouraged to celebrate success.
This scheme is well suited to Graduates in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science and Finance. But that’s not to say that if you don’t have a degree in one of those areas, you shouldn’t apply!
