You will contribute to the design and delivery of innovative, ‘Right First Time’ engineering solutions, making a tangible contribution to the Team success. Working as part of a small, collaborative group, you will apply your curiosity, creativity and problem-solving skills to a range of stimulating technical challenges, helping to develop cutting-edge electronics technologies that deliver performance to the race car.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and development of new and unique electronic technologies to meet the increasing demand and advanced requirements of F1.
  • Writing software in both C/C++ for embedded and Linux platforms as required.
  • Analyse and interpret electrical and electronic systems to understand how they work, identify issues and drive effective engineering solutions.
  • Capturing requirements and specifications.
  • Conducting reliability investigations and fault finding of electronic designs, sensors and systems.
  • Rig and bench testing of designed parts to ensure they meet design specification.
  • Report project and technical progress to key stakeholders while ensuring all projects are fully documented to the required standards and compliant with relevant technical regulations.

About You

You are passionate about electronics and hold, or are studying for, a degree in Electronics Engineering or a related Electrical and Electronic Engineering discipline. With an inquisitive mindset and a creative approach to problem-solving, you are eager to develop your skills further in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Able to work independently, you take a thoughtful and analytical approach to understanding complex problems. Equally, your open and collaborative communication style enables you to work effectively across teams, building strong relationships and delivering results.

You enjoy discussing technical concepts and finding innovate solutions to problems by applying your attention to detail and technical knowledge.

We are interested in hearing from candidates who can join us immediately, as well as ambitious graduates who are set to complete their studies in 2027.
