My name is Sumaiyah Khan. I’m studying Mechanical Engineering at the Brunel University and now I am doing my one-year placement at the Royal Marsden NHS trust in the Estates Department.
The Estates Department is a great department and my experience has been amazing so far from such a short time of being here. I truly feel valued as a member of this department, every single member of staff is very supportive and helpful.
I am continuing learning and putting in practice the knowledge I already have in Mechanical Engineering. Working closely with the Energy Manager and Estates Officers at the Royal Marsden Hospital helps me to gain more experience in the mechanical side as well as in electrical side.
