The Aerospace Yeovil site includes Integrated Supply Chain operations and Engineering & Technology as well as other support functions. It specialises in several product lines including environmental control systems, life support systems, hydraulics systems, and control and data systems.

Key Responsibilities:

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join us within the Test Solutions department contributing to our unique test facilities. The successful individual will be part of a team that design and create bespoke test solutions for the development and test of engineering components and systems.

Your remit will be across Life Support Systems, Environmental Control Systems and Hydraulic product lines at both component and aircraft system level.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering varied work within an exciting engineering department.

You’ll be fully supported to:

  • Interpret data acquisition requirements from technical documentation
  • Creating bespoke National Instruments LabVIEW programs
  • Design and implement test measurement solutions
  • Support test rig and component calibration
  • Provide data acquisition support to engineering test campaigns
  • Assistance with project estimates

Key requirements:

  • Awareness of National Instruments LabVIEW
  • Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s) and process controllers (from studies or the workplace)
  • University level qualification in a related engineering discipline
  • Strong communication skills essential
