Leeds Mechanical Engineering Society (MechEng Soc)

We are a departmental society that offers something for everyone. We provide entertaining socials throughout the whole year and continuously strive to create a unifying environment for students with similar interests to socialise in.

We offer a wide range of evening socials that allow members and non-members to come along to relax and laugh with one another outside of the lecture halls. We also arrange day out activities such as a successful paintball trip this year along with sporting tournaments varying from football to dodgeball. The sports teams linked to our society deliver the right dose of competitiveness along with an easy going atmosphere, these teams include football, rugby and netball.
