Staffordshire Engineering Society

Staffordshire University’s Engineering Society is open to all educational backgrounds of students, staff and academics who have an interest in creative ideas, enhancing knowledge and skills in technology, industrial exposure and having a good social experience for your future.

The aim of Engineering Society is to familiarise students with latest technologies around the globe in the field of Engineering, as well as providing them with enhanced experience in making connections with industry.

Throughout the academic year, the society events will include:

  • Workshops
  • Industrial trips to firms and other Universities 
  • Competitions (Internal and External)
  • Social Activities 
  • Guest Speakers and Talks etc.

The year will also be fully packed with many other activities.

The facts

The Society was established in October 2016.
We are honoured to be 'Society on the Spot' in the Union November Newsletter.
We have over 80 likes on our Facebook page.
Society members can now purchase their society hoodies from the students’ union online shop!
