The East Yorkshire Young Members Panel (IMechE EYYM for short!) represent young engineers in the greater East Yorkshire area including the University of Hull. The Panel is composed wholly of volunteers from across the area representing students, apprentices, researchers, graduates and professionals.
We aim to provide activities and events for IMechE Young Members in the area which support the IMeche themes of Energy, Environment, Transport and Manufacturing.
Originally formed in 2011, the committee has seen steady growth over the years as our events offering has expanded. In this period, we have already seen a number of our members achieve Chartered status, with the committee acting as a useful stepping stone as members progress through their careers.
