De Montfort University (DMU) Women in STEM society is a community for females in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics fields. As a new society, we are open to new ideas and inspirations to grow the society and increase participation.
This is a space to share your experiences and stories, ask questions, and inspire others and ourselves to grow above set boundaries and stereotypes.
Welfare, Fun and Careers: A little get-together before exams, where we combine games/snacks/drinks with a group Q/A about our expectations of uni, where we're currently at (mentally and academically) and what we're looking to achieve in our career prospects.
In addition to these, we promote several career events organised by STEM faculties to our members.
