Welcome to LUMA (Lancaster University Mathematics Association)! We are a community open to all students with an interest in mathematics, whether you're deeply into the subject or just a bit curious. At LUMA, we run a variety of events throughout the academic year, ranging from academic and career-focused sessions to relaxed socials. Our events include creative problem-solving sessions, like Logic Lounge, and casual gatherings, such as Mafé (Math Café), where you can enjoy tea, biscuits, and good conversation. For those who enjoy competition, we hold events like our Integration Bee tournament in partnership with Oregon State University.
