Durham Data Science Society

The Data Science Society aims to facilitate the education of data science skills to its members through the use of workshops and lectures led by professionals and academics.

Furthermore, it aims to create an inclusive and thriving community of like-minded people passionate about data science, allowing students to pursue their academic and professional interests together.

We are a free society open to all Durham University students with an interest in data science.
We host guest talks from leading professionals across industries such as consulting, finance, healthcare, and academia.
We conduct workshops focused on teaching programming, data science, and machine learning.
Entirely student run.
