Develop the next generation of physicists and engineers

Gradcracker Summary:

An important message that came out of the webinar is that you don’t need a physics degree to teach physics. It’s a path open to graduates from all STEM disciplines, and if you choose to pursue it, you’ll be in high demand.

We spoke to some of the trainee teachers from the Institute of Physics. It was fascinating to hear their reasons for choosing the profession and what skills they use on a day-to-day basis. We also discussed the fact that, as a teacher, you must wear many different hats – teaching, supporting and inspiring…

Watch this webinar for a glimpse into the classroom and discover what makes teaching such a rewarding career.

Here’s one of the many kind comments we received…

"The webinar is really great, and I’m so glad that three of our profiled scholars could take part. Very informative and balanced, covering all aspects ‘straight from the horse’s mouth’ for the STEM graduates listening." – Fiona Griffiths, Marketing Communications Executive at the Institute of Physics
