"My role as a graduate engineer is to learn and develop my skills with applied experience. Morgan Sindall Infrastructure has given me the opportunity to get involved with a variety of projects across different sectors - it’s hard to beat the practical skills you gain from being involved onsite and working with knowledgeable engineers.
Despite minimal industry experience at the time of joining the company, I felt welcomed to contribute and encouraged to spend time finding out what works were happening on the project.
During my placements, I got involved with engineering, environmental and safety aspects of the onsite works which enabled me to get a better understanding of the people and processes that are required. I also enjoyed interacting with other graduates and valued the time and effort of the HR team to ensure I was well-equipped to take on my role."
