Early Careers

What's it like to be a Morgan Sindall Infrastructure graduate?
Morgan Sindall Infrastructure graduates talk about their experiences working for us.

Giving your career the best start!

We give our graduates the responsibility and development to make a difference to the UK’s communities and infrastructure from the word ‘go’.

We have opportunities all over the UK in a range of exciting sectors and projects. Technical skills are important, but even more critical to your success here is the ability to work in a team, be open to change and demonstrate motivation for the sector, and our culture and company values.

We offer a competitive salary and benefits, and an inclusive and fun working environment! Graduate routes include civil engineering, quantity surveying, finance, business management, environmental, and mechanical and electrical engineering.

Sponsorship programmes

We operate several sponsorship programmes. Students receive a bursary whilst they study, undertake paid employment during vacations and sandwich placements and have access to experienced professionals with regard to studies and project work. Sponsored students will join the Morgan Sindall Infrastructure graduate development programme on successful completion of studies.

Professional schemes

As a Morgan Sindall Infrastructure graduate colleague you'll have the opportunity to work towards professional development relevant to your role.

You'll be supported by a qualified mentor on one of our accredited, approved or structured professional training schemes including ICE, RICS, IMechE, IET and CIOB. We also support candidates working towards full membership of a wide variety of institutions such as IEMA, CIPS, CIPD, CIM and CIMA.

Summer and year our placements

Helping bring to life the learning you have experienced in the classroom!

Our summer and year out placements are designed to help you gain experience of the industry and learn more about how infrastructure is making a difference to the world we live in, whilst you are studying at university. We have projects throughout the UK across a range of sectors that will offer you a wealth of hands-on experience, support and opportunities which will help bring to life the learning you have experienced in the classroom.

Summer placements are eight weeks between June and September. Year out placements start predominantly in January or September.

We offer a competitive salary and benefits and our placements range across a number of disciplines such as civil engineering, mechanical and electrical, quantity surveying, health and safety, quality, environment and finance.

As a business we see placements as an opportunity to see how you approach challenges, solve problems and how you connect and collaborate with colleagues, our customers, partners and supply chain. We look forward to learning from you too and encourage fresh perspectives and new thinking.
