I moved from Romania to the UK five years ago, and studied at the University of South Wales graduating in 2018 with a 1st in Civil Engineering. I joined Kier in 2017 as a Pre- Construction Management Trainee after completing a work placement. I am currently working as a BIM Coordinator helping to implement BIM and supporting Digital Construction within Western and Wales region. From developing and maintaining BIM Execution Plans and other relevant documentation, reviewing clash reports with the project team to coordinating the handover of information at project milestones each day is unique and challenging - I enjoy how digital technology is shaping the future of construction, improving productivity and innovate the way we work.
Joining Kier while I was studying my last year at University was challenging but made the transition from University to the Graduate Programme extremely easy. One of my favourite moments from the Graduate Programme was the Personal Discovery and Business Impact Residential Training Course at Lake District where I was able to meet and interact with other graduates.
From help with assignments to putting into practice what I have learned at University, Kier has supported and helped me to develop.
