In this graduate role, you will join our transport planning team and contribute to a wide range of traffic and transportation planning work, including transport assessments for new developments, urban regeneration, active travel, inclusive mobility, public transport and sustainable transport feasibility schemes.
You will support the preparation of Transport Assessments and Travel Plans, develop active travel, inclusive mobility and sustainable transport solutions, analyse data and help shape transport-related solutions including junction designs. You will also commission traffic, pedestrian and cyclist surveys, carry out site and access appraisals, and liaise with clients, architects, planners and Highway Authorities.
We’re looking for a MEng Civil engineering degree, ideally with a minimum 2:1 or equivalent, or a closely related technical discipline such as Transport Planning, Highway Engineering, Town Planning or Geography. Strong MS Office, numeracy, analytical and report-writing skills are essential, alongside excellent written and verbal communication and attention to detail. Previous placement or internship experience would be beneficial.
Based in London or Stevenage, with a hybrid working approach and expected office presence agreed as part of the role. You’ll work flexibly between office, site and remote locations as needed, with opportunities to develop within a collaborative consultancy environment.
