Kent is looking for a Graduate Fluid Mechanics Engineer to be based in London. Joining our team, you would develop your knowledge and experience by carrying out advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modelling for a broad spectrum of clients and industries, including oil & gas, offshore wind, and infrastructure. You would have the opportunity to work with and learn from technical experts to provide consequence modelling and risk assessments, such as dispersion, fire and explosion modelling, among a range of other services.
The Kent Fluid Mechanics team provides technical engineering consultancy to the energy industry for problems related to fluid flow and heat transfer. This includes projects in conventional oil and gas, as well as the energy transition (for example LNG, hydrogen and offshore wind). Typical projects include safety assessments (gas dispersion, fire modelling, explosion analysis, gas detection) as well as hydrodynamic assessments, heat transfer and flow assurance. We also support a range of other sectors including power and the built environment.

We are looking for candidates who are due to graduate in 2027, or have graduated in the last 2 years.
