Our Engineering & Consulting Software Development team works closely with our clients to develop high-quality software solutions that add real value to their operations. By combining high-end technical knowledge with modern software development, the team provides its clients with the tools needed to efficiently and reliably solve many of the Energy industry’s technical challenges, across a wide range of disciplines. As a graduate in our team, you will be working on intelligent and useful software to support some of the most challenging engineering projects, helping shape the future of energy. You will get involved in the full software development lifecycle, solving exciting challenges and growing into a high-quality software engineer.
Our Subsea and Pipelines team works closely with our global clients to understand their problems and opportunities, and imagine, assess, and implement innovative solutions to help them deliver energy in the safest, most sustainable way possible while ensuring security of supply. As a graduate, you will be contributing to a variety of technically challenging and exciting projects: from helping clients on their net zero journey by designing H2 and CO2 pipelines, to extending the field life of existing oil & gas pipelines, to performing advanced analysis of pipelines and risers, and supporting decommissioning projects.
Our average projects timescale is 8-12 weeks, so you will continually be learning new skills and working with different experts across our global teams to help shape your development as an engineer and consultant. We strongly encourage our engineers to innovate our approach to engineering studies, so that we continue to deliver as efficiently and effectively to face the ever-changing challenges of the energy industry.
In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development.
