The opportunity:

During your placement, you will join one of our Digital Excellence teams, with your placement area determined by business priorities and opportunities available at the time. This could include: Change Management, Project Management, Business Architecture, AI & Data Strategy.

Whichever area you join, you will work alongside experienced specialists and have the opportunity to contribute to real business and digital priorities. Depending on your placement, you could be supporting a major change initiative, coordinating project activity, analysing business needs and processes, helping shape our digital strategy, or contributing to how MBDA develops and applies AI and data.

With support from experienced colleagues, you could develop skills in:

• Managing and supporting digital and business change
• Planning and delivering projects and initiatives
• Understanding business needs, capabilities and processes
• Developing strategic and analytical thinking
• Exploring digital innovation and emerging technology
• Understanding the opportunities and challenges of AI and data
• Collaborating with technical specialists and business teams
• Working with stakeholders across a complex international organisation
• Presenting and communicating ideas clearly

The placement in Digital Excellence will give you the opportunity to take ownership, build practical experience and understand how digital capabilities come together to deliver real business value & provide a strong foundation for your future career.

Digital capability plays a critical role in enabling our people and our business to succeed. Within Digital Excellence, you will have the opportunity to work on meaningful challenges, learn from specialists across a wide range of disciplines and help shape the change, projects, strategies and digital solutions that will support MBDA now and into the future.

What we're looking for from you:

• Current Undergraduate studying for a degree in Business & Management, Change Management, Project Management, Business Analysis, Economics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science or a related discipline.
• You do not need to know exactly where you want your career to take you, we are looking for people with curiosity, enthusiasm and the ambition to learn, who want to explore how digital technology can make a real difference.

• 1 year placement: starting September 2027, that allows you to apply your university learning to real-world projects and technologies 
• Perform well on your placement and you could secure a graduate role before your final year

Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship.

Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
