At Brett we are proud of our history. Dating back to 1909 we have gone through tough times as well as prosperous. We have been constantly changing, strengthening our businesses to meet the needs of our customers and secure a future for our people.
Robert Brett first started work in 1884 for steam and traction engine maker and owner, George Felix Finn in Wincheap, Canterbury. He quickly worked his way up to becoming an engine driver. After his employer died in 1909, Robert Brett had the initiative and ingenuity to set up his own haulage business and Brett was born.
Brett has played a large part in the local and business community over many years and we have developed an archive that captures our heritage.
