As a Trainee Social Impact Assistant you will be responsible for:
Working with preconstruction, commercial, project teams and key local stakeholders to implement and deliver agreed defined Community Impact KPIs during the lifecycle of each project.
Monitor, measure and report on all project KPIs.
Collating data and required evidence from project teams and supply chain to provide monthly reports for allocated projects KPI’s, creating case studies of key activities delivered to share with clients and support future work winning opportunities.
Establish and maintain relationships with identified relevant client, education, employability, and community stakeholders in the location’s projects operate in.
Champion future talent and promote careers in construction through engagements and activities with external stakeholders including presentations, working group sessions, career support with schools, colleges, and employability support groups.
Working with project teams to establish and support the successful delivery of the Considerate Constructors Scheme across all projects.
Work on new initiatives for education and local communities.
Conduct, behaviours and working practices to be in line with working the Robertson Way.
What you'll need
Bsc (Hons) (or currently working towards or prepared to)
National 5 or GCSE equivalent
Complimentary relevant experience
Ability to work under pressure
Methodical approach
Numerate
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Good written and verbal communication skills
Computer literate
Willingness to learn
About you
As a Trainee Social Impact Assistant we understand this may be one of your first roles so we’re looking for someone with a genuine interest in the construction industry. Experience within this sector would be great however if you can demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative and demonstrate a methodical approach with excellent written and verbal communications skills this could be the role for you. We will support you through your Traineeship to develop and progress in your chosen career path.
