Delta Electronics is the world’s largest provider of switching power supplies with core competencies in energy-saving solutions including power management, visual displays, industrial automation, networking products, and renewable energy.
Since joining the Delta Group in 2003, Delta Energy Systems has specialised in solutions for the automotive, industrial, medical, data centre, and communication sectors.
At the three Delta Energy Systems sites across Europe (East Kilbride (Scotland), Soest and Teningen (Germany)), more than 600 employees are engaged in the design and development of Delta’s next generation of energy saving power electronics products as well as customised solutions for some of the biggest market leaders in our business sectors.
At our R&D site in East Kilbride we design, test and develop innovative battery charging solutions for the industrial electric vehicle market with our new MOOVbase and MOOVon charging systems putting us at the forefront of the industry.
The East Kilbride team also collaborate with some of the world’s leading robotics and automation companies to design bespoke charging products tailored to their needs. Our reputation for high-quality, robust power electronics design makes us a trusted partner in the industry.
The small, multi-functional team in East Kilbride consists of about 30 engineers covering electronic design, mechanical design, systems architecture, product validation and applications, testing and software. Even though our core focus is electronic, mechanical and software engineering, when it comes to hiring new talent we are interested in hearing from students from all STEM backgrounds.
