Green Building Initiatives: Delta's U.S. headquarters in Fremont, California, showcases the company's very own green energy and building automation products. The facility features a geothermal heat pump system and a rooftop solar array. It received LEED Zero Energy certification in 2022, upgrading from its initial LEED Platinum designation, marking it as the city of Fremont's first green building with net-zero energy consumption and only the second in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Coral Reef Restoration: In collaboration with Taiwan's National Museum of Marine Science and Technology, Delta initiated a coral reef restoration project off Taiwan's northeast coast. This effort involves 40 Delta employees aiming to transplant and cultivate over a thousand corals in marine protected areas. The project utilises cryopreservation techniques and Delta's own LED lamps to support ecosystem restoration.
Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Leadership: Delta has a long history of being a leader in the ESG space. It was the first Taiwanese company to issue a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) report in 2005 and has continued this practice annually. The company has been listed on the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices for 14 consecutive years and achieved a top 10% S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment score in 2024.
