Structural Design Studio is a design-led Structural and Civil Engineering Consultancy based in South West London. Our award-winning studio provides high quality, creative structural designs for both new build and refurbishment projects across all major sectors.
About the Role
Responsibilities:
As a graduate at Structural Design Studio you will be exposed to active project work from day one.
We are passionate advocates of achieving Chartership with the IStructE - and all engineers workload is geared towards building experience around this central goal.
Develop scheme design, optioneering and early-stage engineering skills
Assist the engineering team, carry out drawing, structural calculations, analysis and modelling
Produce considered solutions which are efficient and low carbon
Attend site, design team meetings, internal meetings etc. with the support of a Project Engineer or a Director
Collaborating with your piers across the other disciplines and practices
Develop skills and understanding of, codes of practice, software, materials and construction techniques
Learn key aspects of contract law, construction law, Health and Safety and wider industry drivers.
Skills required
Working towards a 1st or 2:1 in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Salary - £30,000 plus performance based bonuses
25 days' paid annual leave plus bank holidays with the option available to buy or sell back a further 3 days.
Additional annual leave policy for loyalty. Annual leave will increase by one day a year every year after 3 years of service. Topping out at 28 days.
