Created for the new ‘Made-for-Wales’ GCSE in Maths and Numeracy, this book forms part of a new series of high-quality WJEC revision guides being published by our client.
We started receiving manuscripts in May and speed of delivery was a priority so that the book could be ready for September teaching, but we didn’t want to make any sacrifices in quality that can sometimes result from a rushed delivery. We achieved this by combining all editorial and typesetting stages into one constant workflow, doing away with traditional proof stages and instead following a more modern, agile and responsive process of content creation.
An experienced author of WJEC books and a boots-on-the-ground WJEC teacher also helped us to ensure that the book was accurate to the new specification, as well as a suitable and accurate tribute to the wealth and diversity of culture that Wales has to offer.
It was a privilege to work on a project where the client put full trust in us to bring their product to life, allowing us to flex our creative muscles and sink our teeth into every part of the book production process.
