Graduate Management Development Programme 2027

Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Chemical.

Turn shop-floor experience into a career in operations leadership. A two-year rotational Programme for graduates who already understand what manufacturing feels like in practice and want to build the skills to lead it.

About us:

PCC Precision Castparts Corporation (PCC) is a global leader in the manufacture of complex, high-performance components for the aerospace, power generation and industrial markets. With more than 27,000 employees across 164 locations in 15 countries, our scale is significant. You may not know the PCC name yet, but you will know many of the companies we work with, including Airbus, Boeing, GE and Rolls-Royce.

In fact, chances are that every time you have flown, you have been surrounded by products and technology made possible by PCC.

Ready to turn your degree and hands-on experience into a career in manufacturing leadership?

Our two-year Management Development Programme (MDP) is designed for ambitious graduates who want to build their careers where things actually happen, on the shop floor, alongside experienced teams, solving real manufacturing and operational challenges.

You will complete four live rotational assignments across two of our UK locations, gaining broad exposure to different businesses, processes, teams and operational environments. Our UK locations include Nottingham, Leeds, Leicester, Birmingham, Hereford, Swansea and Edinburgh. From the beginning, you will be given real responsibility and meaningful projects that allow you to apply your engineering, manufacturing or management knowledge while developing the commercial, operational and leadership skills needed to progress within our business.

Graduate Management Development Programme – Starting September 2027:

The MDP is one of the ways we develop our future operational leaders, with the potential to build towards senior roles including Operations Director and General Manager.

Our approach is deliberately hands-on. We believe the best way to develop is by being immersed in the business, understanding how manufacturing really works and taking ownership of challenging projects that deliver measurable improvements.

Throughout the programme, you can expect:

  • Four challenging, live business assignments
  • Experience across two PCC UK locations
  • Significant exposure to manufacturing operations and the shop floor
  • Opportunities to drive continuous improvement and operational change
  • Direct interaction and visibility with senior leaders
  • A dedicated mentor and strong support network
  • Continuous personal, professional and leadership development
  • Exposure to a global organisation supporting some of the world's leading aerospace and engineering companies

At PCC, quality is fundamental to everything we do. That applies not only to our materials, products and processes, but also to the people we recruit and develop.

You won't be here to observe from the sidelines. You'll be expected to get involved, ask questions, challenge thinking, solve problems and make an impact.

And with us, you won't simply become another graduate in a large intake. You'll be known, supported and given the opportunity to build a career that can take you far beyond the programme.
