Join the UK’s largest teacher training programme and help children facing the biggest barriers discover their potential.
For over 15 years – and with the generous backing of our supporters – we’ve been helping schools build a fair education for all. By developing the next generation of great teachers and brilliant leaders. And by growing a powerful network of talented people committed to change.
Join the Teach First Training Programme and you’ll earn a salary from day one in the classroom, gain skills to fast-track your career and make a difference in the schools that need you most - receiving guidance and support throughout.
You’ll gain a fully-funded Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and achieve Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - both internationally recognised qualifications.
With your talents and ambition, you have many career options ahead of you. But few are more meaningful than teaching. You’ll develop skills all employers are looking for, make lifelong friends and connections, and help build a fair education for all.
Become a qualified teacher in one year through our School-Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) programme, supported by Teach First and a trusted training partner. Train in a real classroom four days a week, with the equivalent of one day a week dedicated to training, workshops and reflection - building your confidence and skills. Teach First’s SCITT programme lets you train in primary or secondary education close to home, so you can make a meaningful impact in your community while building your teaching career.
