Nissan made its all-electric racing debut as partner and shareholder of the e.dams team in Season 5 (2018/19) of the ABB FIA Formula E championship. Nissan is currently the only Japanese automotive manufacturer in Formula E, and together the team has won 2 races and finished 2nd in the Season 6 standings.
