Application Process

The application process for the MSc programme will be thorough to ensure we are confident our Postgraduate Engineers are able to succeed academically and professionally.

Full applications will open in February and close in March however, we are currently accepting applications of interest.

We have a three-stage application process for the MSc (Conversion) in Software Engineering:

Stage 1: The first stage is an online application form to collect basic information about you and your academic background.

Stage 2: The second stage is an online assessment which includes four activities and are designed to give you a variety of assessment styles, to demonstrate your skills and aptitude, and give a holistic insight into your potential.

Stage 3: The final stage is an assessment day. The assessment day will be held in person at the Dyson campus in Malmesbury. The morning will include multiple assessments, and the afternoon will be an opportunity to meet current students and Dyson Institute staff. We don’t want finance to be a barrier to anyone attending these events and will reimburse travel expenses.
