The Accelerate Programme

The Accelerate Programme is Capgemini Invent UK's award winning graduate development programme. Over approximately 19 to 21 months, you'll progress from Associate Consultant to Consultant through a blend of structured learning, coaching, mentoring and hands on client experience. Following an initial three week induction and a twelve week consulting training programme delivered by the Institute, you'll move into your chosen pathway, applying your skills on live client projects while benefiting from ongoing development, regular feedback and a strong graduate community. Travel to client sites may be required, and candidates should live within reasonable commuting distance of their chosen office location.

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business. It will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home. Please note that you will be unable to work from home 100 percent of the time.

Your role:

As an Associate Consultant on the Corporate Experience pathway, you will develop your consulting career through a combination of client delivery, internal contributions, and continuous learning.

Client delivery: Gather and analyse information, support requirements capture and workshops, develop recommendations and business cases, and help track project progress, risks, and actions.

Internal contributions: Support the development of consulting methods and tools, contribute to bids and training initiatives, and help strengthen the CE community through team events, communications, and recruitment activities.

Own your growth: Take responsibility for your development by seeking feedback, expanding your network, building new skills, and pursuing opportunities to broaden your experience.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for individuals who possess some of, or all the following qualities:

  • A curiosity and desire to learn: self reflecting, seeking out development and growth opportunities and showing interest in how organisations, industries and markets evolve.
  • Problem solving skills: approaching challenges logically, thinking critically and breaking complex topics into manageable parts. Communication and collaboration: sharing ideas clearly, listening actively and working effectively with colleagues, clients and stakeholders.
  • Adaptability and resilience: thriving in new, fast paced situations, responding positively to change and learning constructively from feedback.
  • Ownership and initiative: taking responsibility for outcomes and proactively seeking opportunities to contribute.

At Capgemini Invent, we take a holistic approach to recruitment. While academic achievement is considered, we equally value potential, curiosity and mindset, which will be assessed throughout the recruitment process.
