"The level of independence I’ve been given in my team from the get go. My sister actually joined the Cyber Security grad scheme, about four years before I joined. So I knew it was a place where I could really develop my potential and get ownership over important projects. At the time, Carbon Neutral by 2030 and Sky Ocean rescue were big things, so I knew it was somewhere that I really wanted to work."
"My manager was so well versed in how a grad might feel straight out of uni, and what knowledge gaps I might have. We had a two day workshop before even coming into the office on our first day. They do the best they can to make sure we get off to a good start. I like that Sky really invests in us because they know we’re the future of the company."
"My leadership skills. Initially I was thinking, can I do this? Can I actually lead a campaign? But once I jumped into it, I had all the support I needed, which was amazing. The kind of work I do and the pace we work at varies from campaign to campaign. It’s a great feeling to be able to lead and be trusted to make those decisions. It’s been great for my development."
