The industry itself was outside my usual experience, and I wanted to try something new, mainly to gain experience in my field. However, my interest in the industry grew as I began to understand our work and the impact our company has.
The graduate scheme has taught me how to navigate my career. Although my peers are engaged in different activities, we all learn from each other. Rotating through various roles has deepened my understanding of what I enjoy and increased my confidence. Bouygues has supported my career development through continuous training and assistance in attaining a CIPD qualification, which will help me become chartered upon completion.
It's hard to pinpoint a single aspect I enjoy most about working at Bouygues, but after a year, I can see significant growth in myself and my graduate peers. Sharing this journey with other graduates who understand the struggles, pressure, and rewarding challenges has made me truly appreciate the scheme and my time at Bouygues.
