Graduate Transport Planner

We are looking for a graduate with a genuine enthusiasm for Transport Planning to work in our Peterborough office. Our Transport Teams undertake development planning work, providing advice to private sector and local authority clients on access and transportation issues and supporting development proposals through the planning process. The team works closely with our Infrastructure Services, Structures and Environmental teams on larger multi-disciplinary development proposals.

The role demands a proactive approach in a team environment and offers substantial opportunity for career progression within the company.

Graduate Transport Planners will be expected to contribute to the technical excellence of the team and can expect considerable experience on a variety of interesting and challenging projects.

We specialise in Transport & Planning developments, for example:

  • Chesterfield Waterside Transport Plan.
  • First class transport plan for Quinn Glass.
  • Hope hospital Travel plan.

To apply you should have the following:

  • BSc/BEng in Civil Engineering or relevant subject.
  • Knowledge of Traffic Assessments, Travel Plans, Transport Statements.
  • Knowledge of Manual for Streets and relevant Highway standards.
  • Good communicator (written and verbal).
  • Proven technical track record and ability.
  • Good team player to contribute to dynamic group.
  • Commercially aware.
  • Desire to be Chartered through relevant Professional Bodies (eg CIHT,CILT, ICE).
