This includes the direct impact of our operations and the inherent social value of the services we provide, the wider embedded social value impact across the value chain, from suppliers to customers and consumers; and the added social value through the voluntary contributions we make and how we use our position to help the communities of which we are a part.
Telent Futures is an initiative led by a team of coordinators within Telent to facilitate a dedicated team of ambassadors to enable them to volunteer their time within local communities, at national events to promote STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths) and to share a range of skills, knowledge, and experience with future generations. The programme is designed to provide a variety of opportunities for young people currently in education that will support them in their future career choices.
Ambassadors support future generations to make decisions about their potential career choices whilst reflecting on their own professional journey and sharing knowledge, skills, experience, and expertise.
By being involved in events ambassador’s can develop their soft skills including communication and presentation skills. Ambassadors’ time counts towards CPD hours, which can be recorded to contribute to professional qualifications.

As Telent is predominantly a Business-to-Business integrator, we encourage opportunities to work with members of the public across the communities we work in. Our team is continuously developing our Social Value programme of activity, including its commitment to working with young people and promoting STEM opportunities.
Our ambassadors are committed to the learning and development of young people and the future of the potential work force in years to come. Telent Futures’ mission is to have a greater reach and add more value for the young people it works with by calling on the knowledge, experience and expertise of colleagues across our business to offer a more extensive range of support across the community projects it supports.
By reaching out to future generations, our aim is to leave a lasting mark on local communities, contributing significantly to their development and the workforce of the future.
