Our 10-week Finance Summer Placement Programme gives you the opportunity to gain real-world experience at the heart of one of Britain's largest and most important organisations. Working alongside experienced finance professionals, you'll contribute to meaningful projects, develop valuable commercial skills and gain insight into how finance supports decision-making across the business.

What you’ll be doing

Take the opportunity to gain experience across a high-performing finance function while developing your analytical, commercial and professional skills.

You'll contribute to meaningful work while building the knowledge and experience needed for a career in finance. You'll have the opportunity to:

• Working as an Assistant Management Accountant or Assistant Financial Accountant
• Supporting financial reporting, analysis, budgeting and forecasting activities
• Collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to support business decision-making

You'll gain exposure to a variety of finance disciplines while developing practical skills and industry knowledge. Throughout your placement, you'll be supported by current graduates and finance professionals who will help you make the most of your experience.

Who you are matters

You'll need to be in your penultimate year at university, be on track to achieve a minimum of a 2:1 degree in any subject, and have a genuine interest in pursuing a career in finance.

We're looking for enthusiastic, ambitious students who are ready to challenge themselves and make a difference. Other qualities we're looking for include:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• An interest in finance and working with data
• Good teamwork and collaboration skills
• Effective communication skills
• A curious, motivated and proactive approach to learning
