At FTI Consulting, we value authenticity and want to see your unique skills, problem-solving abilities, and creativity in action. To ensure a fair and accurate assessment, we ask that you do not use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) or other automated software to respond to questions or complete tasks during your application/interview/recruitment process.

Our goal is to understand your personal strengths and how you think - not how an AI responds. Using such tools may misrepresent your capabilities and could impact your candidacy. If we detect or suspect the use of AI during the interview, we may disqualify candidates from the hiring process.

The interview and selection process for students and graduates may vary depending on the team you’ve applied for. If you are selected to proceed after submitting your application, one of our recruiters will contact you to guide you through the next steps. Curious about what the interview process might involve? Here’s a general outline:

  • Online Assessment: These assessments evaluate your relevant skills for the role, such as numerical and written abilities.
  • Pre-Recorded Video Interview: You’ll record responses to questions that assess your communication skills and motivation.
  • Interviews: Virtual or in person: during the interview, we will ask a combination or technical and behavioural questions to evaluate specific skills related to the role and to understand your previous experience and how that may relate to the role. 
  • Assessment Centre: During an Assessment Centre we may include multiple elements such as a group exercise, a case study and an interview.
